Description

The instrument indicates or records the density of smoke passing through a chimney or flue. It consists of three parts:-
(1) The transmitter, which is fixed in the flue
(2) The indicator or recorder, which may be fixed at any
convenient place for reading, regardless of distance
(3) The twin cable, for connecting the transmitter to the
indicator, and which may be of any suitable length
