Description Notes
Circular brass base; single plate quadrants, supported on glass posts; brass rod supporting suspension with insulated feed-through and terminal at top; suspended needle with aluminium vane; glass cup with silvered outer surface rests on base; brass connecting rods with terminals lead to two quadrants; wires connecting opposite quadrants connected to terminals on underside of quadrants; screw adjustment for positioning one quadrant; rotating switch with ebonite handle extends from under base; glass cover; brass shielding cage; glass Leyden jar capacitor between suspension post and frame.
Condition: poor ( suspension broken, brass tarnished); incomplete (mirror, glass cover missing).
