Description Notes
Rectangular brass box, sliding glass plates front and back, on black wooden three-legged stand (350 (h) mm); terminal on end of horizontal brass rod passing through hole in side of box, connected to vertical post holding gold leaf inside box; central post supported from top of box, with ceramic insulator; two parallel circular brass capacitator plates (80 (dia) mm) outside box on opposite side with removable cylindrical brass cover; circular brass fitting held on wooden stand by two screws.
Condition: good; incomplete (gold leaf, glass plates and telescope missing).
