Description Notes
Tripod base with brass levelling feet; horizontal brass track-supports on sliding metal frames; two sets of coils on wooden formers; each set contains two coils, with four brass terminals; central metal frame supports suspension tube; ring-shaped magnet is suspended within cavity of copper cylinder; coils slide to enclose cylinder; circular plane mirror attached to, and above suspended mirror with metal frame; mirror visible through glazed window at bottom of suspension tube; adjustable controlling magnet mounted on suspension tube.
Condition: fine (suspension broken); complete.
