Description Notes

Circular brass base on black ring stand; three brass levelling feet; single brass terminal attached to base; electrical lead connecting quadrants to measured potential contained within shielding tube underneath base; cylindrical brass case with lens in circular window; top suspension plate supported on three brass pillars; two controls with circular scales on top plate for adjusting height of suspension and of one earthed quaddrant; the other quadrant pivotted to expose suspended two-bladed vane or ‘needle’; clamping device.

Condition: good (suspension broken); complete.
