Description Notes
Rectangular ebonite base; three levelling feet; circular bubble level; four threaded brass terminals; removable rectangular brass case with four glazed walls; two pairs of vertical coils in ebonite boxes on brass support; four horizontal magnets on suspended mirror at centre of upper pair; similar magnet system on aluminium vane at centre of lower; adjustable controlling magnet on vertical rod connected to top of case with rotation mechanism. In wooden box with hinged front and brass carrying handle. Printed label inside box with hand-written specifications.
Condition: good (suspension broken); incomplete (two glass panels missing).
