Seven circular or octagonal ebonite plates mounted on top of wooden box; on plates are mounted rotary switches, tapping keys, and a rheostat, with ebonite handles; slide-wire with ivorine scale, 271 mm long, with divisions from ‘0’ to ‘100’; another 350 mm scale (for calibrating, usint standard cell, at different temperatures) marked from ‘5’ to ‘30’, and labelled ‘VALUE OF CLARK STANDARD CELL AT...DEGREES CENTIGRADE’; ebonite and brass cursor with locking screw and tapping key; eighteen threaded brass terminals (for standard cells, galvanometer, battery, and five potentials to be measured) mounted on ebonite plates on back of box. With wooden lid.
