Simple linear Slide-Wire for user in a Potentiometer; made by W.G. Pye & Co., 1900-1950 (c);
Rectangular wooden base; four, one-meter slide-wires connected in series, with brass terminal at each end; wooden meter scale with 0 to 1 000 mm markings in both directions; cast-metal slider with brass terminal, and four brass tapping keys with ebonite handles, marked ‘0’, ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’.
