Description Notes
Cylindrical black metal case; three holes for wall mounting; two threaded brass terminals on back; glazed window on front showing white dial; non-linear scale, 40 to 60 cycles; iron-alloy disk pivoted between, and extending within two flat coaxial coils; coils are connected in parallel with each other, one with a capacitive, the other with an inductive reactance in series; this combination is connected across the meter terminals, in series with an inductor; vane for air damping. Plastic label fastened on back, giving instructions for use at either 200 V or 400 V.
