Description Notes
Upright rectangular wooden box on metal base; leather carrying handle; hinged and locking door with glazed window; two fixed and two pivoted coils; two pairs of terminals for current (fixed coils) and three terminals for voltage (pivoted coils); rear section of box, behind removable back plate with ventilation holes, contains twenty-eight resistance coils, fourteen in series with each pivoted coil; adjustable electromagnetic damping; clockwork drive for recorder, with large winding lever; white dial with scale, 0 to 8 kilowatts; no lamp. With door key.
Condition: good (coil pivot intact, clockwork operational); incomplete (pen missing).
