Description Notes
Upright rectangular wooden box on metal base; leather carrying handle; hinged and locking door with glazed window; three pairs of terminals on top, for current input, lamp power and recorder power respectively; pivoted coil D’Arsonval galvanometer with three-piece upright horseshoe magnet in upper section of box; pointer extends vertically downwards to continuous chart recorder, electrically driven, in lower section; zero adjustment lever; air damping chamber; white dial with scale, 0 to 5 milliamperes; pointer clamp; brass lamp socket. With door key.
Condition: good (coil pivot intact); incomplete (maker’s nameplate, pen and lampbulb missing).
