Description Notes
Housed in rectangular brass box with front glazed window, showing vertical, curved paper dial; non-linear scale, 0 to 490 divisions; aluminium pointer, and sixteen cells; brass suspension tube on top of box; glass cup for damping oil in brass case at bottom of box; rigidly fixed to wooden frame having three levelling screws.
