Description Notes

Rectangular wooden box with brass carrying handles; ebonite and metal-grid top; metal grids cover ventilation holes on two sides and bottom; two rows of five ebonite rods fastened to underside of top plates support a seven-inch wide ribbon of constanton wire, silk-covered and woven with silk thread; terminals connect to ends and intermediate point of resistive ribbon, providing two resistances.
