Rectangular wooden box with lid; ebonite top; five threaded brass terminals; brass blocks for two sets of five plug receptors; six brass and ebonite plugs; two flexible copper straps for high current flow; threaded brass and ebonite fittings at each end of box holding mercury-in-glass thermometers.
