Description Notes
Circular, brass-frame mounted on front of rectangular wooden box; glazed window showing silvered dial and black central pointer; non-linear scale, 0 to 150, extending over almost 360 degrees; brass terminal on each side of box, hinged door at back; long brass tube, with mounting bracket, extending from top of box; tube encloses four lengths (approx. 4m) platinum-silver wire. In rectangular black box with hinged lid and carrying handle; two spools for extra wire, fastened inside lid of box, marked ‘Instrument wire / .0025”’ and ‘Fuses wire / .0015”’. On hand-written card on inside of carrying box: ‘Cardew Voltr. No. 122. / R = 404.1 w at 19.9 Cent. / 14/7/85 / S.G.’
Condition: fine (movement intact); complete.
