Rectangular wooden box with ebonite top; four ebonite covered brass terminals; nine-position rotary switch with ebonite knob and white arrow; dial marked ‘1’, ‘3’, ‘10’, ‘30’, ‘100’, ‘300’, ‘1000’, ‘0’, ‘OFF’; ebonite and brass locking tapping key to short circuit galvanometer; seven coils on ceramic bobbins arranged in circular frame of switch, fastened to underside of top plate.
Condition: good; complete.
