Description Notes
Rectangular wooden frame containing copper tank for oil; cast metal top; two brass terminals; four rotary switches with brass pointers and brass and ebonite handles; continuous rotation through eleven positions (0 to 10, 100, 1 000, and 10 000 ohms) marked on four annular brass dials; hole, with rubber stopper, for thermometer; each switch has ten coils wound on brass tubes arranged in circular pattern, and fastened by metal frame to underside of top plate.
Condition: fine; complete.
