Description Notes

Plug type Wheatstone Bridge, Post Office pattern, made by Camb. & Paul Inst. Co., c.1920; Rectangular wooden box with hinged lid and leather carrying strap; ebonite top; seven plated brass terminals; two lockable tapping keys with ebonite handles; twenty-four flush mounted plug receptors; twenty-four brass and ebonite plugs; four pairs of proportional coils of 1, 10, 100 and 1 000 ohms; sixteen coils from 1 ohm to 5 000 ohms, total 11 110 ohms; all twenty-four coils wound on ceramic bobbins, fastened to underside of top plate.
