Resistance box, by W. G. Pye & Co., English, c. 1955.

Rectangular wooden box with metal ventilation grills on four sides; ebonite top; four ebonite covered terminals; central eleven-position rotary switch with ebonite knob; positions marked ‘DIRECT’, nine ratios from 2:1 to 200:1, and ‘OFF’; eleven coils wound on wooden bobbins fastened to underside of top plate.

Condition: good; complete.
