Description Notes

Electrically maintained tuning fork, late 19th century.

Mahogany base to an iron tuning fork clamped by a knurled screw horizontally above the base. 2 coils at one end and 2 connectors for wires to connect the current. Fork is clamped within a wooden block that slides along the base and is fixed by a large circular screw underneath the base.

Condition: good; complete.
