Rectangular wooden box with ebonite top; pairs of terminals for battery, galvanometer, standard cell, and two unknown potentials, respectively; tapping key; rotary current rheostat switch and slide-wire control; rotary nineteen-position switch and rotary slide-wire calibrated in bolts and millivolts; three plug receptors, with brass and ebonite plug, for different ranges; three-position toggle switch for selecting potentials.
