Description Notes

Battery of ten Weston Normal Cells (cadmium / mercury electrochemical cells), by Cambridge Scientific Instrument Co, 1908.

Twenty ebonite and brass terminals mounted on ebonite lid; nine connecting bars to connect the ten cells (or any lesser number) in series; two holes for thermometer insertion; ten H-shaped glass cells suspended below top, tied to central wooden pillar with string, each containing a clear liquid (cadmium and mercury sulfate solution) and mercury; in wooden box.

Condition: Fine (all cells and wiring intact); complete
