Ebonite top on wooden box; circular glazed window on front of box; circular window and dial; non-linear scale, 0 to 1.5 divisions; three pairs of brass terminals above window, marked ‘APPLIED POTENTIAL’, ‘6 VOLTS’, and ‘70V’; zero adjustment and clamping controls below window; filament rheostat control and push-button switch on right side; two ebonite rotary switches.
