Description Notes
Black-painted horseshoe stand, flat profile. Brass pillar topped by conical knurled screw for fine focus. Swing plano-concave substage mirror on friction-tight support; substage condenser which can swing out of the path of the light. Rectangular brass stage (clips missing). Shaped brace to limb with double knurled screws and rack and pinion focusing (rack on body). Draw tube divided [13] - 19, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1. Push fit eyepiece. Triple objective holder with two ordinary objectives and one oil immersion objective.
Fitted wooden box with white metal hinges and lock, brass handle and maroon velvet lining. Drawer containing blue glass filter. 1 eyepiece numbered ‘4’ and 3 brass boxes for objectives. Paper leaflet with instructions for testing the oil immersion objectives. Also original sale card indoor.
