Description Notes

Magnetic lodestone for remagnetising compasses. Lodestone in wooden box with hooks for secureing close, on the lid “Mullard” emblem, red, black and silver. Hinged box, inside of lid foam layer for protection, base contains green baize with pockets for the lodestone in white metal, three barrels of metal and a bar magnet covered in red paint.

The lodestone is cylindrical in shape, both at the bottom and top are knurled caps which unscrew. The magnet is placed in the top cavity and the metal barrel in the bottom cavity. On the top cap is a hook for attaching a string for swinging the lodestone.

Condition good to fair, some pitting of the metal on the lodestone.
