Description Notes

Upright rectanguler box on black plastic base. Leather carrying handle. Hinged and locking door, with glazed window (badly cracked). Two pairs of terminals on top, one pair for voltage and the other for recorder power. Rear section of box, behind removable back plate with ventilation holes, contains resistance coils. Pivoted coil with D’Arsonval galvonometer in upper section of box. Screw for damping pointer at top, marked ‘INCREASE DAMPING’. Pointer extends vertically downwards to continuous chart recorder, electrically driven in lower section. Zero adjustment lever. White dial with scale 0 - 250 Volts, numbered by 25 from 125, 125 to 250 graduated to 2.5. Pointer clamp. Two door keys.
