Description Notes

Gallenkamp melting point apparatus. Rectangular shaped box of silver painted metal. Powered by mains supply - has cord and plug. On the front is a screwed on plaque with the above inscription. Below is a circular dial with needle pointer that is twisted to raise or lower the temperature. The scale for the temperature is 0 to 10. Below the dial is written “USE BOOST HEATER FOR RAPID HEATING AND FOR MELTING POINTS ABOVE 230OC” “MADE IN ENGLAND”. Below the plate and dial are two switches one to the left and right. On the left is “Boost Heater ON” and on the right “Heater and Lamp On”.
