Description Notes

microscope used by students in University. Possible the next generation B.L.M. II.B. Microscope Advanced Student’s Stand (see catalogue C Baker Microscopes 1932).

Metal with charcoal painted finish. Three footed stand. The limb is inclinable. The microscope can be focused using rack and pinion. Quadruple nosepiece, however only two lenses are present one is a C. Baker the other a Meopta. The microscope is fitted with a rack and pinion focussing substage. The substage carries a lens and iris adjustment. The mirror is missing as are the slide clips. The inscription/name badge is on the front of the barrel of the microscope.
