Description Notes

Printed line drawing of leaf cell structure, showing cuticle (salmon coloured, labelled ‘c’). Two diagrams, above each other. The upper one (‘1.’) has a thicker cuticle, beneath which is a yellow layer, labelled ‘y’ and some palisade cells. The lower one (‘2.’) has a thin cuticle, labelled and coloured as above, but immediately beneath it is a layer ‘a’ and longitudinal cells ‘e’.
