Description Notes

Black line drawing, with some shading, showing 7 diagrams of the germinating seed of Phoenix. No labels.
On left are three cross-sections of the seed, with the root growing out. In the centre, running the full height of the chart, is the most developed stage, with a shoot, as well as a long root. Top right is a cross-section of the seed just about to start germinating. In the middle right are two circular cross-sections (?) with a snake-like coil inside.
Similar style to item 4648, and apparently a continuation of 4649.
Title is at bottom centre.
Ref number in bottom right.
