Description Notes
Two cell-detail diagrams, one left, one right. Both show a roughly pyramidal structure, tapering up the page. The final cell at the tip is grey shaded. The cells are long and thin, and there are branches and nodules off the lower part. The left diagram appears to be a more mature version of the right diagram.
The catalogue describes this as mucilage cells on the ramenta of Blechnum.
