Description Notes

6 shunts for use with a galvanometer, probably Phillip Harris Crompton model. A shunt extends the limits within which a galvanometer may be used. Allows the comparison of the relative strengths of two different currents.

Fixes to the galvanometer by two metal prongs. They are screwed into a plastic housing which contains different metal strips/wires which offer varying resistance and amperes.
