Description Notes
Watercolours in green, pink, blue and yellow.
Pictures of stigma and developing flowers, also of pollen grains, including a close-up and a cross-section of the stigma. Thes are arranged almost randomly on the page, with no labels.
In centre left and right, are two sectors, perhaps representing sections through the stem or stigma. These sections are (left) yellow with a pink lower edge, and (right) pink with a blue tip. Far right and left, and centre are filled with external views of the stigma in different stages of development. There are two pollen grains top left; bottom left are two cross-sections through some long thin spiked organs; centre are a cross-section through another part (?stigma, or ovary?), as well as a close-up of the top part of the flower, and of the petal formation. Right, there is a view of part of the stem.
Top is title.
Bottom are labels: the yellow sector is ‘sub-M’, the pink one is ‘sub-F’, while the three external views of the maturaing plant are ‘m’, ‘F’, and ‘H-n’ (in yellow, pink, and blue).
Fragile.
