Description Notes

Ten black line drawings of the development of the embryo in Capsella. There are no labels.
The seven diagrams across the top show the development from a line of cells, into a ball of cells on the end of a stalk.
The two in bottom left show the cell structure at the point of attachment.
The large diagram bottom right shows the embryo in situ, surrounded by other cells.
Note that in the large diagram, and also the top right one, there are a couple of cells depicted as undergoing mitosis, with the spindle clearly shown.
Stencilled headings top and bottom.
Ref number bottom right.
