Description Notes

Black ink outline map showing south Norway and Sweden, and just the northmost tip of Denmark.
Sea is shaded in blue watercolour at coasts.
Black spots mark fossil finds, a green line marks the northern limit, and a red line marks the present range. The red line is to the south of the green line, and all the black spots lie between them. In the east, the green lines go quite far north.
A key is given in the top left, ‘Northern limit’ has been written on a separate paper, and stuck over an error. The heading and key are written in a broad italic hand.
