Description Notes

The main part of the chart below the heading is divided into four columns, listing, for each soil type, the associated soil characteristics, climates and vegetations.
The soil types discussed are Tundra, Podsol, Brown earth, Chernozem (Black Earth), Chestnut coloured soil, Saline & Alkali Soils. Desert. Tropical Red Earths, and Laterite Soils.
The table is outlined in blue crayon, with the text in a black italic hand.
