Description Notes

Line graph (black ink) plotting ‘Soil moisture tension in atmosphere’ against ‘Soil moisture content as percent of dry weight’ for both a sandy soil, and a clay soil. The part of the graph relating to the sandy soil is shaded pink, that relating to the clay soil is shaded blue.
Arrows mark the tension at permanent wilting point, and the tension at field capacity.
Text is stencilled, capitals for the title, sentence case elsewhere. Some errors have been tidied up by the application of white paint or Tippex.
Ref number on reverse.
Good condition.
