Description Notes
Universal indicator/galvanometer for use with universal adapter and shunts. The shunts extend the limits within which a galvanometer may be used. Allows the comparison of the relative strengths of two different currents.
Dial and indicator incased in clear plastic drum mounted on top of a rubber wedge shaped base. Dial has inscription above, a circular scale with numbers 0 to 15 in intervals of 5. Needle pointer. In top left corner is typed the capacities ‘15-0-75mV’ ‘3-0-15mA’ and ‘5 OHMS’. In the top right corner symbols consisting of a star with the number 2 inside it. On the top of the rubber base are the terminals for attaching the universal adapter. Two metal terminals connected by a plastic bar bearing the inscription ‘ DISCONNECT LEADS BEFORE REMOVING SHUNT’.
