Description Notes

Watercolour (?) in green and purple showing different views of fruit of Morus.
Centre is bunch of purple grape-like fruit.
Top right is section through a purple fruit, revealing the seed.
Two diagrams in bottom right are cross-sections through the seed (?) revealing the embryo.
Left are two sections (longitundinal at top, transverse at bottom) through a green ovoid with leaves on top - the immature fruit?
Heading ‘Artocarpeæ’ at top is crossed out in pencil.
Both headings are in black stencilled capitals.
Fair condition.
