Description Notes

Printed line diagram, with brown shadings, showing cell structure of Quercus bark, in cross-section.
Layers of tissue are labelled ‘a’ to ‘f’, with ‘Perid.’ appearing several times in between.
Hand painted at bottom is species name; also hand pencilled scribbles.
Top right, to left of printed heading: embossed impression of coat of arms, surmounted with eagle, bearing motto ‘coll. christi cant’
Good condition.
