Description Notes
Brass; square and jointed racked pillar; compass joint to 3 arched feet; sliding shoe with hinged and compass jointed swinging piano/concave mirror; sliding shoe with hinged and compass jointed substage condenser; shoe with pinion onto rack for circular stage; two lugs for stage forceps etc.; 3 small apertures in rim; pin at head of pillar fits into socket, with clamp on a sliding shoe which fits onto a horizontal bar; brass ring with clamp round cylindrical body; snout and screw fitting objective marked IIIII; screw thread for lieberkuhn; signed collar push fits into body; second collar with knurled ring and screw thread for field lens (missing). third collar in 5 screw fitting parts with compound eyepiece marked C/EII & EI/3/EI; screw fit finial cover.
