Description Notes

Brass heliostat, spring driven driving clock. Mirror in fork mount. Secured by knurled screw to brass-cased clockwork drive, winding key. Pivots on pillar and tripod stand with knurled brass clamping screw and crudely divided arc. Three levelling screws. Suspension and target point for plumb bob (bob and line missing).
