Description Notes
Rectangular card plate with circular celluloid protractor originally attached to front by metal pin (missing). Front carries grid for calculating line of fire and directions for use. Protractor divided 0 - [360] numbered by 10 subdivided to 1, also marked with 8 points of the compass. Reverse carries range tables, fuse corrections and angle of sight rules for an 18 pounder gun. Compiled from official range tables by Major E.R. Hatfield, D.S.O., R.F.A. Some manuscript addition on front.
