Description Notes
Rectangular white celluloid sheet with 2 pieces of transparent celluloid pivoted to one end.
Obverse: range scales for various distances and heights above and below gun level. Brief instructions in top left hand corner. Trapezoid piece of celluloid set over scale showing parabolas for ‘highest shot’, ‘centre shot’, ‘lowest shot’ and ‘danger line’. Also ‘1/10000 yard scale’ divided [0] - [2800] numbered by 500 subdivided to 25.
Reverse: Table for weather corrections for different distances. Pressure and angle marked on base, temperature and wind marked on rotatable transparent celluloid rectangle. Also various conversion factors listed.
Folded paper instructions. Cardboard slip-case covered in paper.
