Description Notes

Rectangular white celluloid (?) plate with unequal circular scale for ‘metres or feet, diff in height & mins angle of s.’ divided 20 - 190 numbered 10, 25 ... 100, 110, 120 ... 190; 20 - 65 subdivided to 1. Rotatable disc set within this scale with circular scale giving range in yards divided [1000] - 10000 numbered by 500; 1000 - 6000 subdivided to 100. Arrows indicate angle of sight in feet and metres.

Condition fair (very warped); complete
