Description Notes

Two identical transparent yellow celluloid rectangular protractors. Degree scale around three edges, divided [0] - [180˚] and [180˚] - [360˚], numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 1˚. Fourth edge carries inch scale divided [1] - 0 - 3, numbered 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 0, 1, 2, 3, first inch subdivided to 1/8; also scale of centimetres divided [1] - 0 - 10, numbered by 1, first cm subdivided to 0.1. Central grid divided into 146 squares (16 x 9), marked A - P and 1 - 9. Equation marked at one end: ‘V.I. (FT) = (D X H.E.)/19.1.’ Other end has distance conversion details.

Condition good (slightly warped); complete.
