Description Notes

3083.1: card and paper pattern for protractor required with gnomon projection. Obverse has layout for protractor as well as instructions for its engraving and construction. (For scales see 3083.2.)
3083.2: transparent celluloid rectangular protractor. Semicircular degree scale divided [0] - 90˚ - [0], numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 30´. Along bottom diameter a centimetre scale divided [9.3] - [0] - [9.3], numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1. Along vertical radius a centimetre scale divided [0] - [10], numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1.

Condition 3083.1 poor (one corner missing, dog-eared), 3083.2 good; complete.
