Description Notes

Ivorine rectangle with central rectangular aperture. Scale on either side of aperture for ‘distance in hundreds of yards’ divided 2 - 20, numbered by 1. At bottom instructions: ‘the graticules to be held 18 ins from eye for Mark VII ammunition’. Length of synthetic thread attached to pinhole at bottom of aperture, with second pinhole above aperture.
