Description Notes
Leather case with brass buckle containing
3042 A: Oke’s plotter. Rectangular white celluloid base over which rotates a transparent celluloid disc and index. Base has degree scale divided [0] - [180] - [0], numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 5˚; also series of horizontal lines with central one marked ‘line of sight left observer’; vertical scale at diameter of disc, divided [300] - [0] - [300], numbered by 100, subdivided to 10. Disc has diametrical scale divided 300 - [0] - 300, numbered by 50, subdivided to 10, and arrow marking ‘line of sight right observer’. Index marked ‘line of fire’, with scale divided -300 - [0] - [400], numbered by 100, subdivided to 10.
and 3042 B: Oke’s deflection scale. White celluloid (?) rectangle. Obverse has table of deflection angles for different ranges. Scales continued on reverse.
Condition good (3042 A is much discoloured, case buckle very corroded); complete
