Description Notes

3 drawer, hand-held refracting telescope. Pasteboard body covered with brown/black grained paper (fishskin?). Bound with horn rings at both ends. Object end has threaded brass ring fitted in horn, with screw-in brass cell for O.G. with sliding cover. Green vellum covered, pasteboard draw tube, bound with horn rings at ends. Erecting eyepiece, lenses in wooden cells. Brass eyestop with sliding cover.
